I have been fairly steady on the sewing lately, with an emphasis on bags for some reason.

I acquired the cotton from a friend's stash and sewed it in blocks onto a heavy cotton base. I just overlocked the blocks onto the base and made a feature of the seams because I am far too lazy to piece them.
I got the idea from this tutorial on tiny happy. Pretty cool, huh?

This bat brooch is destined for
yaramaz. It's a bit big for everyday brooch wearing, but I trust she'll be able to find something to do with it.
Next up, it's autumn here so it's cotton knit hoodie time. Does anyone have a favourite free hoodie pattern (child or adult sizing?)
